10 storey building was built in one day in China
Last year, when the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus from Wuhan in China’s Hubei province began to spread across the country, there was extreme fear and panic worldwide. However, the Chinese stunned the world by building a hospital in just six days to deal with Kovid. China has caused even more surprises this year. This time, the board group of the Chinese company based in the United States has shown surprise by building a 10-storey house in just one day.
The boarding group recently built a 10-storey building in Changsha, Hunan Province, China, in just 26 hours and 45 minutes. Although it is said to be ten storeys, it is 11 storeys, the ground floor reserved for the general use of all the occupants of the house. There are a total of 20 flats, two on each of the remaining ten floors. In all, it is a house of 2,946 square meters. The price is 29 lakh 47 thousand dollars.
This building of the board group is a combination of many small parts or pieces, all of which are machine-made. The pieces are sent to the site or construction site, much like assembling furniture. When the building is built, small container-like parts are first made. Then the whole house was built by placing one of the containers on top of the other. This method of building a house is called modular housing.
Although the board group made a splash by building the house in just 28 hours, the modular housing system is not new. It is already quite popular in the world. The popularity of modular housing is increasing daily in big cities as buildings can be constructed quickly in less time. According to Fortune Business Insights, an Indian business consultancy, the global market for modular housing currently stands at ৭ 6.8 billion.
Built by the Board Group, this modular house has everything from electrical connections to drainage, kitchen, toilet, and bath equipment. Although built in such a short time, the house is strong enough and is earthquake resistant. Another advantage of such houses is that they can be easily moved from one place to another or from one country to another. Because every part of the house can be removed, small pieces of such home infrastructure can be shipped from one country to another in ordinary 20-foot or 40-foot containers. Of course, it costs quite well.
The boarding group hopes to remove the 200-storey building in this manner.
