6 Weird Insects

Not all animals are meant to be beautiful by nature, but yes, we have brought here some insects from around the world that are weird and bizarre. Some of them may really resemble involving aliens, and some may even be beautiful in the weird. Most of us have a laid-back attitude when it comes to painting a picture about ourselves. While new discoveries of insects and animals are happening daily, here we list six insects that you may not know exist.

1. Flower mantis

Flower mantis, as the name implies, imitate flowers and can disguise prey. The camouflage tactics help ministers avoid other dangerous insects. It is highly intelligent, where it climbs the stem until it reaches the flowering area and does not reach the range of other insects. Usually pink or white in colour, the monties attract and hold the flies to sit on the tiny black spots on their bellies after settling on the flowers.

2. Water bugs

The water bug, known as “Indian Two-Beaters” or “Alligator Escape,” is abundant in North America, South America and East Asia. It is extremely aggressive in nature and catches many aquatic animals like fish, frogs and snakes. However, when it comes to their presence, water bugs are annoying in that the eggs are on the back of their body, which consists of many shells. Water bugs work underwater even though the prey is strong enough to hold them until they die. And they are also known to cause severe pain if bitten by them even after injecting saliva into dangerous digestion.

3. Honeypot ants

Honeypot ants are very scary at first sight because their stomachs are very swollen. As the name implies, honeypot ants store honey in their stomachs for future use. And many have even proved that the honey in the stomach was strange in taste but quite sweet. Unlike other insects such as honey bees or seeds, pot ants save on their own for survival soon. Pot ants live mainly in the southern United States.

4. Killer bugs

The Assassin bug is one of the most unusual insects globally, as it carries the carcasses of other insects for a living. It can inject dangerous saliva into multiple insects, such as ants and cockroaches, carrying them perfectly and acting like barbarians. When fighting with other insects, their short hairs help to retain many insects. The enzymes present in their mouths can digest the tissue, which helps kill the prey.

5. Spiny catidid

Horrible by appearance, the Spanish catidid has been found in the rain forests of East Queensland and North New South Wales. As the name implies, the body of the Spanish catidid resembles that of a throne, which helps it to disguise itself with a greenish, angry surface. There are 400 species of catidid, of which the Spanish catidid is considered strange due to its four-limbed appearance. Spiny catidids often disguise themselves on leaf or green surfaces to trap other insects.

6. Brazilian Treehopper

We’ve all been to the grassroots, but a Brazilian plant can’t be identified as more bizarre than any other insect on earth. Brazilian plants are found on almost all continents except Antarctica. Due to its peculiar presence, naturalists showed great interest in further experiments. Like the structure above the head of the Brazilian trefoil, the terrifying tree helps to attack other insects in danger. The main part of the tree head varies with various species, and almost all shapes are bizarre and frightening. It is found in leaves and stems and mainly depends on the sap piercing the surface of the stem.
