Five advantages of the iPhone to stay ahead of Android
Apple on Monday announced some new features on the iPhone at the WWDC’s virtual platform, the conference of Apple’s software developers. Users will get this benefit by updating the iOS 15 operating system. Apple’s announcement was about many benefits, big and small; here are the top five.
1. ‘Zoom’ on FaceTime:
It seems that the video calling service on Apple’s device, FaceTime, is bringing the biggest change this time. The special audio will distinguish human voices from other words. This will make group calls seem more normal than before. And a facility called Grid View is being added to group video calls. Selecting it will show everyone’s video in the same format, but the one talk will be a little different. Selecting isolation mode will omit the background word, and only the speaker’s words will matter.
Portrait mode is coming to FaceTime. The background can be blurred by keeping the content of the image right.
The biggest update is FaceTime Links. Much like Zoom, the user can share the link with everyone by fixing the call in advance. Invitees can join the video call by visiting that link at the specified time. Most importantly, Android smartphone and Windows PC users can also join FaceTime calls from the web. Previously the feature was only for Apple device users.
2. ‘Everything’ can be shared:
Many new features are coming to the iPhone under the facility called Share Play. For example, users can share the device’s screen with their acquaintances while listening to music or watching videos. In this, many people can watch videos or listen to songs together on FaceTime. Suppose again, you listen to one song, and another can add the next song to the playlist. Screen sharing will also be available on other Apple devices.
It will also work on the Apple Music and TV app. If you want other video streaming services, you can take advantage of Apple. In other words, when watching a movie on Apple TV Plus, it can be seen together with friends.
An option called ‘Shared with you’ is being added. If someone sends you something in iMessage, you will find it in this part. For example, if someone sends a picture, it will show up in the shared with you part of the Photos app.
3. ‘Smart’ notification:
iPhone users have been hoping for a big change in the notification system for a long time. Finally, this time change is coming. The less important notifications that come up throughout the day in the Notification Summary option that you haven’t seen will be stored. You can take a look later if you want in time.
Enabling the Do Not Disturb mode will allow others to see it before sending you a message. This will make the sender understand that you may not reply to that message anytime soon. And if the matter is very urgent, there will be an option to inform.
Another feature called Focus Mode is coming. Working, that is, if you select the work mode, only those apps and contacts that you select will be able to send notifications.
4. ‘Living’ writing:
Fear not. Text from the iPhone will not wander around. With the advantage of the name of live text, if an image is written using artificial intelligence, the iPhone can read and listen to it. Moreover, it can be copied and pasted elsewhere.
Not just cameras, operating systems will have this facility everywhere. For example, suppose there is a phone number on the poster pasted on the wall. You can call that number directly from the calling app. If you have a web address, you can enter the website by selecting the link by pointing to the camera. It has been informed that there will be a facility to find the location directly on the map from the address.
Although the name is live text, it can also identify animals, books, or other objects.
5. Wallet is getting bigger:
The iPhone wallet app is just great. Bank cards, transport service cards, and many more are involved. However, it has not been able to replace the pocket wallet yet. Apple wants to do just that. The Wallet app can launch a car via ‘Car-Key,’ but not many organizations support it. There will also be the facility to add acceptable identity cards to the wallet. Remember, you can enter the office by scanning the virtual ID attached to the iPhone’s Wallet app without scanning the identity card. But it must be supported.
