God Particle-as the Destroyer of the World
World-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking warns that the Higgs boson particle, known as the God particle, has the power to wipe out the universe. Hawking claims that Higgs boson particles can become unbalanced at high energy levels. When these particles become unstable, they can create ‘destructive vacuum decay,’ in which space and time are in danger of disappearing. In such a situation, you can find no danger signal in advance.
Hawking claims that the Higgs boson particle reaches “mega-stable” or maximum stability when it gains more than 100 billion giga-electron volts. This particle can then become a cause for concern. However, Higgs never mentioned when such a catastrophe could occur from boson particles. However, he advised thinking of the danger so that such particles do not acquire a superpower.

But Leo Lederman’s name is one of the people who have researched and written for a long time to let everyone know. In 1993, Lederman had a hard time naming his forthcoming book on the particle. He once said, “God damn particle!”
The veteran publisher grabbed it right away. But after a while, the publisher thought he wanted a smarter and shorter name to cut the market. So, the publisher made an offer to Lederman. Can’t the name be shortened to ‘God Particle’? Lederman agreed. The book was titled The God Particle. Of course, the book began to sell in the market. If the name of that God Particle is changed to Bengali, then this God particle stands.
The physics theory that can explain the mass of an object is called the ‘standard model.’ The Higgs boson particle, also known as the God particle, is required for this standard model to exist. According to this traditional physics model, the primary basis for the mass creation of every object in the universe is an invisible particle. This invisible particle is also the cause of the difference in the object’s mass.

In 1974, physicist Peter Higgs theorized the idea of a particle that creates the mass of an object. According to him, this made the creation of the universe possible. In 2001, researchers began searching for the particle in the Tevatron machine at Fermilab in the United States. The Large Hadron Collider of CERN Laboratory was named in the competition in 2006. Finally, on July 4, 2012, CERN researchers officially announced the discovery of a particle like the Higgs boson.
