1. Beijing Daxing International Airport, China  

Beijing Daxing International Airport, also known as Beijing New Airport. By 2021, the airport will be able to handle about 45 million passengers under this mega project and it is expected to increase to 100 million in the future. The airport, with the world’s largest terminal, will be able to handle about 4 million cargoes a year. September 26, 2019 was the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. On that occasion, President Xi Jinping inaugurated the airport in Beijing.

The 6 lakh square meter airport has cost 11 billion dollars to build. And it’s so huge that it’s about the size of 96 football fields. Located 48 kilometers south of Tiananmen Square, the airport looks a lot like a starfish, with Chinese media calling it a “starfish.” The airport was designed by the famous architect of Iraqi descent, Zaha Hadid. And his company Jaha Hadid Architecture has worked. 

 

2. Kistefos Museum, Norway 

Kistefos is one of the most important sculptural gardens in Europe for contemporary art. The museum was founded in 1996 by art collector and businessman Kristen Sivas. It is now an art museum, with two art galleries and a park of impressive sculptures in a picturesque setting. Every year one or more new sculptures are placed in this park. The park currently has 46 sculptures, including those by Yau Kusama, Klaus Oldenberg, Fernando Botero, Tony Craig, Olafur Eliasson and Anish Kapoor.

It was designed by Priscilla’s award-winning architect Jean Nouvel; Who also designed the Louvre in Abu Dhabi. The 40,000-square-meter museum took a decade to build and cost about 434 million. The UK Times called the building “the most magnificent building of the decade,” the Financial Times called it the “Desert Rose of Change,” and The Guardian called it “eye-catching architecture.” 

Inside the museum, three chapters of Qatar’s history are displayed in 11 galleries within a kilometer and a half . Not only is this museum unique in its architecture, On the contrary, its interior decoration is also dazzling. Another interesting thing is the diamonds displayed in this museum.

 

4. Under, Norway

The vessel is actually a public landmark that has been circled up to the 18th floor and has about 60 steps to view the Hudson River and Manhattan. It is one of the largest real estate projects in American history. This magnificent architecture was designed by the British architect Thomas Hederwick. 

Before handing over the project to Hederwick Studios, it was suggested that a structure be built in the center of Hudson Yards that would attract visitors and increase publicity in Manhattan. Building, such a spectacular installation between train platforms and all the taller buildings, is truly a daunting task. But this challenge seems to have given more impetus to the construction of unique architecture. 

The building has 158 stairwells, about 2,500 individual stairwells and 80 staircases. During this steep climb, there is a chance to relax in the middle of the building and take in the view of the river and the city. 

 

6. Wuxi TAIHU Mancha, China 

Towards the end of last year, Steven Chilton Architect Firm built the Wuxi Taihu Stage, designed in a steel structure to look like a bamboo bush. The stage was built in the city of Wuxi, near Shanghai in eastern China. Being close to the largest bamboo bush in China, it has also been developed in the style of the bamboo bush. In the center of the whole architecture is a platform with two thousand seats; Surrounded by stone carvings and glazed walls. 

The roof tent surrounds the building from all sides. The tent is carved out of place in a triangular shape; As a result, light comes in during the day with those gaps and a strange atmosphere of light and shadow is created all around. But light and shadow are not its main purpose. It is also a process of keeping things cool naturally.

The illusion is created that the steel pillars in the shape of bamboo bushes look different from different angles. At night, when the lights are on from under the pillars of the building, from a distance, this bamboo bush looks like a heavenly lighthouse.

 

7. Copenhill, Denmark 

Copenhill, or ‘Amager Bakke’ in Danish, is actually an artistic expression of the lack of mountains in the southeastern Amagar region of Copenhagen, Denmark. This aesthetic architecture has been built by the Bizarre Engels Group, or Big, for short, over a decade.

It is an architectural style and a center for energy generation from waste. And the purpose behind its construction is also quite far-reaching. The architectural model of Copenhill is, in fact, 1.2 m long and 3.3 m wide, made of aluminum bricks, which cover parts of each other to form a concave shape.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be one of the world’s leading institutions for exploring and researching the art and science of film and filmmaking. Renzo Piano, a Pritzker Award-winning architect, has designed a new version and expansion of the old building. The design of the new building is in line with the future plans or goals of the building.

A circular dome-shaped roof with 1,500 flat wooden planks and tempered glass has been erected on the steel-reinforced structure. There is a 1,000-seat theater in this glass ring. The famous Hollywood hill can be seen from the cornice of this roof. Renovation of the museum has cost about 388 million, including interior decoration.
