AFP reports in French, English, Arabic, Spanish, German and Portuguese. They started the company in 1835 under the name ‘Ajans Ava’. AFP was founded in 1835 by Havas, an agency formed by Charles Louis Havas, a famous translator and advertising agent in Paris.
