A simple meal without fries, the purpose is to quickly throw something in the stomach so as not to interfere with important tasks by constantly reminding you of your existence. The Spanish conquerors came to Chile with their culinary preferences. But they had to adapt to the new conditions, and the local products were eaten there for centuries. And so Chilean food was made, locally processing foreign recipes and adapting Native American food to the stomachs of Europeans.
Chile has not survived a global catastrophe – a fast-food attack. However, other than that, Chileans cook fast food according to their recipes, enveloping common foods with great natural products famous for the country. For Chilean hot dogs, no rare special ingredients are required. By definition, fast food must be fast so that the cook does not have to look long for what it can cook from. But what is available to Chileans in our area may seem foreign.
Such as – avocado. For a pair of hot dogs, you need 300-400 grams of ripe fruit per gram. The pulp is ripe whose pulp does not have to be cut with a sharp knife, but you can easily remove it with a spoon.
In addition to the avocados, you need a medium tomato, a few tablespoons of mayonnaise, and salt to taste. Of course, you can’t do anything you want, except sausage and bunnies; it’s good – fresh and crispy.
Everything is simple, including sausage. These are boiled, sufficiently boiled for five minutes. Removing the shell from them before or after cooking is a household matter. There are different opinions, but the main thing is that the shell does not work in a hot dog; it is completely tasteless, and the emotion is chewed hard.
Tomatoes are cut into cubes about a centimeter in size (or smaller, if not lazy) and slightly salted. The avocados are cut in half, and a stone is removed, a core is brought out with a spoon.
It is best if the buns are fresh, warm, soft, and wrinkled. However, even slightly stale ones can be refreshed by keeping them in the oven for a few minutes. There they will be warm, inside they will become soft, and on the contrary, the crust will dry out. The heated bun is cut along the entire length, leaving the crust intact on one side to open the bun. The salted tomatoes are placed at the bottom of the groove, the cooked sausage is placed on top of them, and a layer of mashed avocado puree is placed on top; you can make a hot dog otherwise. At the bottom of the cut, place a sausage, and place tomatoes and avocados on their different sides left and right. As you understand it, the essence and taste will not change, but then – what a field of heated debate and verbal fights! Biscuit sticks with the rest of the annoying advertising campaign.
As sausage, strained avocado, and tomato cubes are placed in a bowl, a few tablespoons of mayonnaise on top will complete the cap.
